Not marble, nor the gilded monuments
Of princes, shall outlive this powerful rhyme;
But you shall shine more bright in these contents
Than unswept stone besmear'd with sluttish time.
When wasteful war shall statues overturn,
And broils root out the work of masonry,
Nor Mars his sword nor war's quick fire shall burn
The living record of your memory.
'Gainst death and all-oblivious enmity
Shall you pace forth; your praise shall still find room
Even in the eyes of all posterity
That wear this world out to the ending doom.
So, till the judgment that yourself arise,
You live in this, and dwell in lover's eyes.

Connoisseur

Here is a record of all the fanlistings I have joined, subjects of which I am a connoisseur ;)

Showing listings under the TV Shows category...

As Time Goes By

Subject: As Time Goes By
Reason:

Bleak House

Subject: Bleak House
Reason: The BBC's 2005 adaptation.

Dr Who

Subject: Dr Who
Reason:

Fawlty Towers

Subject: Fawlty Towers
Reason: Arguably the greatest British sitcom of all time.

Jane Eyre

Subject: Jane Eyre
Reason: First broadcast by the BBC in 2006, this adaptation starred Ruth Wilson and the delectable Toby Stephens. With a simmering passion running throughout the series, it's the most faithful version I've seen.

Poirot

Subject: Poirot
Reason: I used to watch these adaptations of Agatha Christie's books when they were first broadcast and adored the authentic period atmosphere combined with the mystery of a murder or two. David Suchet is Poirot to me.

Spooks

Subject: Spooks
Reason: The BBC's slick spy series. Fast, intriguing and (until recently) intelligent telly. Beautifully shot.

The A-Team

Subject: The A-Team
Reason: I used to watch this series as a child and remember it with nostalgia. Pure, unadulterated entertainment. Fast, furious and fun.

The Catherine Tate Show

Subject: The Catherine Tate Show
Reason: Am I bovvered? What a fucking liberty! 'Course I am: it's brilliant. Or rather, I should say, Catherine Tate is brilliant.

The Worst Witch

Subject: The Worst Witch
Reason: TV Film of my favourite book as a child. I remember waiting for this films first broadcast at Hallowe'en and loving it.
